Preparing for the birth
Pregnancy and birth are profoundly moving moments. The changes that take place during pregnancy, as well as preparations for the birth and the time thereafter give rise to many questions. In addition to the information provided by your doctor, we are happy to answer any questions you may have on our website or personally.
We organise regular public lectures on the subjects of pregnancy, birth and your stay in hospital after the birth. In addition, we offer a brief information evening on the first Thursday of every month. We would be happy to take this opportunity to show you our Maternity Ward and our Birth Rooms.
Our antenatal classes run by our competent midwives relieve uncertainty and anxiety and assist you in maintaining a sense of wellbeing.
In addition, at the Salem Hospital we offer nutrition advice and – where ordered by your doctor – physiotherapy for the discomfort associated with pregnancy.
Free visit to the Maternity Ward with concise
information concerning the birth process
On the first Thursday of every month, we invite you to a brief information evening from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. We would be happy to take this opportunity to show you our Maternity Ward and our Birth Rooms.
The information evenings take place at Blumenberg House in the vicinity of the Salem Hospital and are free of charge. It is not necessary to make a booking.
